If there’s one person in Hollywood constantly pushing the boundaries on fashion, it’s The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco.
The 36-year-old TV personality’s love for unique takes on couture was on full display when she walked the black carpet for the 5th annual InStyle Awards back in October 2019. Always a chameleon with her outfit choices, The Flight Attendant actress stunned attendees when she arrived in a short black shift dress with thin spaghetti straps. What really drew folks’ attention though was the ensemble’s black lace overlay that had a high neckline and went all the way to the floor.
As the look had elements of both demure and dramatic, Kaley made sure to play this up with her accessories as well. Wearing a pair of simple black pumps, she carried a black lace clutch and wore sparkling jewelry. To complete the overall aesthetic for the night, the 8 Simple Rules alum chose to style her hair back with a sideswept bang. As for her makeup, Kaley made her eyes pop by using a bold eyeliner and neutral lipstick.
We all can agree that no matter what Kaley wears to an event, she is sure going to stand out. But we also noticed she has a particular love for lace, since this is not the first time she broke out the detailed material for an event.
Over the years, Kaley had floored fans when she wore a see-through white lace dress at various Hollywood parties. She gave a capped sleeve version to the premiere of Why Him? in December 2016. The California native then modeled a sleeveless design just two years later for the 6th annual Hilarity for Charity event. As for black lace, the actress had quite the showstopper moment in a thick-strapped black gown to celebrate filming 200 episodes of The Big Bang Theory in early 2016.
As far as when we’ll see Kaley back on the red carpet, that’s to be determined. She is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend Tom Pelphrethere, and seems to be enjoying her road to motherhood. Until then, we’ll just have to look at throwback photos for fashion inspiration.
